After driving this rode for over 150 miles I would love to cycle this road but I cannot justify it’s UNSAFE conditions. Too many blind hills, fast drivers, and no shoulders make this road dangerous for cyclists. I wish it wasn’t so. I would never do this road alone. Maybe a large group ride. It was absolutely beautiful drive. The marine layer fog kept us guessing about what we would see. I’m sure there are times when this is even more spectacular without the cloud layer. From here we are headed to my daughter and son in law’s place in Los Angeles to babysit the grandson. They have a wedding to go to this coming weekend and are in much need of a little date night.
