Today was a late start due to the events that started late yesterday afternoon, and continued through the night.  Dealing with some fraudulent bank transactions that has transitioned to identity theft. It started yesterday afternoon or so we think.  Hard to tell since we are in and out of services.  Anyways, the morning was spent trying to clear things up.  Do to the circumstances were calling an audible.  We decided to do a short ride and follow up and make sure there was no other issues.

Picking up where I left off yesterday The shoulders widened out.  Heading toward Old faithful Lodge presented quite a few climbs and some serious curvy roads to navigate.  We climbed the Continental divide several times which of course meant there was some ups and downs.  The combination of climbs and downhills made for a nice ride.  There are some beautiful places to stop along the way to take pictures.  Today we had a little bit of rain but nothing significant.  Approaching the Old Faithful Lodge The traffic increased.  This is the place everyone wants to come and see. This seems to be the baziest location in the park. Passing through the hill’s disappeared and we continued with our twist and turns and hopscotch north through Yellowstone.

After 36 mile bike ride, we stopped and headed into town for some food and follow up.   It’s a good thing we did because clearly the changes made this morning we’re not enough.  We spent most of the evening trying to get things cleaned up and Lisa Marries phone to restore from backup.

What can I say! Sometimes you hit the large bump in the road that grows into a boulder🥹🤬. As Norm said above we got hacked and my phone seemed to be the source. After being up at 600 am trying to get it solved we drove to Grant Junction where Norm had left off. Took some more pictures as I drove and almost am done with book 2. I drove through Firehole Lake area which was interesting topography. At lunch we found out the boulder/hack issue wasn’t solved so for the next several hours we tried again. This process took wiping my phone and uploading everything. Well boulder became a mountain at least to me, as the solution at 1000 pm was to drive to the closest Verizon store in Bozeman Montana 70 miles one way. This would mean no park day(our last) and bike ride change. Was I frustrated! And both God and my husband knew it😉 I made a comment to Norm all my joy was gone. Of course God reminded me of the verse in the Bible that says Rejoice in all things, again I say Rejoice! So I said Father God, I am very sorry, I will begin to rejoice even now trusting in you. I went to sleep at peace. We had been trying for almost 6 hours to get my phone uploaded. Yes WiFi service is spotty in West Yellowstone but this was a real problem. For both of us to be safe with the next week of bike journey, we had to have my cell phone working! Hence possible 70 mile drive. Enjoy the pics!
