Today I arrived in Kearney Nebraska. I’ve been looking forward to this point for quite some time. Based on my planned route this is halfway. Storms had rolled through all night and we’re still finishing up this morning as I began my day. The first 45 minutes we’re in a steady light rain. The traffic was light because it was the weekend. The wind started out light but finished strong. Heading into town allowing some of the industrial buildings on the outskirts to block the wind I ran across the Tin Man.
From there I began to weave my way through the downtown residential areas of Kearney. It was fun to see the different homes and eventually work my way to a fabulous little bike path. And finally arriving at my cousin’s place looking forward to several days of rest and time with family.
